BRE has announced the release of version V6 issue 6.1.2 and 2018 issue 3.1, bringing key changes that Encon Associates has campaigned for some time. The re-introduction of specific evidence, as opposed to generic evidence, will help assessors and design teams ensure that Quality Assurance submissions are accurate and meet BRE requirements without previous ambiguity.

Encon Associates, along with other prominent assessor organisations, have been working with BRE to streamline the BREEAM assessment process for both assessors and design teams alike. In our opinion, this strategic change is a game-changer for design teams' understanding of the BREEAM requirements.
